Conductor Batons come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Each one is a custom piece that reflects the conductors comfort and style. A baton can range in length from 12 inches to 18 inches. They weigh between 14 grams and 20 grams depending on the shaft material. The end of the baton can be tapered, elongated, tear-drop or pear shaped. The shaft can be fibreglass or wood. Wooden shafts tend to be lighter than fibreglass shafts. Each baton is balanced so it comfortably rests at the point of contact with the hand.
